- My Summer with Le Xia
On Tuesday, the third season of the Le Xia band was announced. On the way home from work, I opened the previous live song list pushed by the NetEase Cloud Music homepage. I listened to the Hedgehog's "The Train Goes to the Clouds, Dreaming in the Ninth Heaven" and the New Pants' "Life is Hot Because of You, Moved Again". I also read a hot comment, which made me think about my experience during the first season of Le Xia.
In the summer of 2019, I was still in my third year of college. My roommates were all preparing for postgraduate entrance exams in the next semester, but I didn't want to pursue a master's degree and stayed in the dormitory all day doing design work for future jobs. During the day, I mainly did part-time jobs and explored design. The city where my university is located is close to the sea and the mountains. My dormitory is on the third floor, and I can see the distant mountains from the window. The sea breeze outside would blow in, swaying the curtains back and forth. That is the most memorable scene for me. When Le Xia was broadcasted every week, I would order two kilograms of crayfish and beer, and eat, drink, and watch. The first season was so amazing. I discovered so many hidden gem bands and shed so many tears. It wasn't until the end of that season that I realized I had spent such a complete and beautiful summer, which was also the last complete summer memory of my youth. In the autumn of that year, I left the seaside city where I had stayed for three years and went to Jinan to participate in the school's planning training course. In the winter, I went to Hangzhou for an internship. I couldn't always go back to school. When the epidemic became so severe the following year, even the graduation ceremony for summer was canceled, and the thesis defense was changed to online. Only when I finally got my graduation certificate, after a series of epidemic reporting and internship resignation, could I rush back to school and spend the remaining three to five days of graduation with my classmates and friends. The day after graduation, I took the high-speed train to Beijing and started my formal job, marking the end of my youth.

Why You Should Intern During the Summer#
Internship programs are similar to planting trees. The output within half a year is actually very limited, but the growth in the following years is amazing. For planting trees, the best time is ten years ago, and the second best time is now. So, in order to benefit the company in half a year or a year, internship programs should start now.
I remember when I first joined Byte, I met a friend from the University of Hong Kong who was interning in her sophomore year. Because the school environment was too intense, it was a consensus there to intern at a big company early and prepare for studying abroad or further education. I feel that during my time in college, I didn't realize how to do things more efficiently. The same path of progress can have a huge difference in speed depending on the environment.

I have always believed that all "brushing" behaviors should not be used excessively, as they will definitely affect your mental state and reduce your energy level. In this kind of lifestyle, many things that used to be easy for you to do slowly become impossible. It undergoes a process similar to the crowding-out effect, where your way of action not only affects your behavior but also constructs a matching lifestyle and corresponding psychological environment. In other words, many bad habits will generate a supporting role in your habitual behavior, which is something that needs to be highly alert.

It means that the brain is constantly changing, like a tree growing towards the sun. Repeatedly stimulating the brain will gradually change its development. For example, if you keep scrolling through Douyin (a short video app), you will become more and more dependent on short and shallow content, and become unfamiliar and unskilled in longer and deeper content. The sun's hand can change this in myself.
