"Listen and Watch" - C-level Hero
Last week, there was a hit song from the peak rap battle in China. Last night, I watched a reaction video by 2f and added this song to my playlist. Rappers writing love songs are really cool, and I recommend it because it sounds good and is popular. This season, I really like Pharao, he is someone with attitude but also free-spirited.
But the magical thing is, you will find that for most things in the world, as long as you smoothly pass through the emotions of yourself, you don't need to communicate anymore.
Because you have accepted it and are no longer angry!
When you realize that "my happiness" has nothing to do with "whether the other person meets my expectations," what's the point of communication? There is no longer a need for communication.
Because you have discovered that you actually have complete control over your own emotions.
Most of the time, I know that emotions are a product of the present moment, but what I didn't expect is that there is a small technique for externalizing negative emotions that I didn't pay much attention to before. When you can't handle or digest them, you can give it a try! For example, I just caught a train a few minutes before it departed. I specifically told the driver that I was in a hurry to catch the train and hoped to get there quickly. However, he still took a route with heavy traffic. When there was less than ten minutes left, I ran with my luggage and luckily made it. I just want to say to the driver, you are really stupid.
How Can Ordinary People "Change Their Fate"?
In recent years, I have had two dimensions of understanding about "fate": the original family and the era in which one lives, which basically determine most people's lives.
...
Finally, this article is not advocating fatalism, but analyzing based on the life samples of most ordinary people, and drawing the conclusion that the lives of some ordinary people have already been determined by their family background and the era in which they live. You should reasonably break out of that confined circle.
As an ordinary person, as my age and experience increase, I gradually realize that the era limits a person's range of activities, and the original family (original accumulation) limits a person's range of activities within this circle. Even if I feel that this range is only equal and there is no difference in hierarchy, there are still differences, which are differences in experience. It is difficult to cross. In the face of unlimited desires of some people, it is painful. Changing my mindset and trying to make myself as happy as possible is a simpler way. Sincerity and diligence will also make people move forward with peace of mind.
Learn to Convey Effective Information
Last year, I wrote about the most important thing I learned during my first internship, which is to learn to convey effective information. Share the pitfalls you have encountered and the insights you may have for others. Provide direct conclusions and don't waste both parties' time. Don't describe the process, but describe insightful conclusions.
In English, it's called "take away." Practice giving possible audiences a take away. This is the practice of the Feynman learning method.
When forwarding content that I think is valuable, it is best to include the main points of the article or my own views: to give the recipient more results without wasting both parties' time, and to cultivate the ability to process information. It is best to combine it with existing knowledge and output "my opinion". When editing the weekly report, I often think about whether the articles I share have resonated with me and made me admire. Are the personal thoughts I write my true language? Editing and publishing the weekly report takes an afternoon and consumes some energy. For a designer who focuses more on visual design, this kind of writing exercise is good.
Expression Methods and Inner Needs
In expression, "I" is not so important. What is important is what kind of change this information has brought to you.
In expression, "all of my experiences" may not be effective for others, after all, "my experience with him/her" is different in terms of life, judgment, and experience.
Yesterday, a colleague asked me what was the biggest change in my personality after working. I replied that I have become more rational. When I just graduated, I was often sentimental and easily had fluctuating emotions, but now it seems that I can control myself more easily. I really like a sentence from the author: "When the expression method is an 'inner need,' the feedback you hope to receive; when the expression method is a 'tool,' you can adjust it based on goals, occasions, and the feedback you hope to receive." Recognizing these two points can help better understand and control the appropriate expression method.

Oasis Map in the Desert - Personal Recommendation List for Beijing's Salary Restaurants
A much-needed list for workers in Beijing. I will choose from here the next time I go out to eat with my good friends! However, some seem a bit expensive, so I will need to filter them.
Shy about the expensive price of the font management software RightFont for Mac, I discovered this website when looking for alternatives. It is a free website that helps find more alternative software options. It covers various platforms and provides comprehensive software information and related suggestions. Highly recommended.
I really like the way they share a famous painting every day. The quality is excellent, and the app interface is simple enough, although the interaction takes some getting used to. But it doesn't affect anything. I have already subscribed.
A cute custom widget style app. I was attracted to the lock screen widget style, but I don't like the desktop widgets because they are too cute. It is very suitable for girls because of the cute art style.
Apple Official - Designing for iPadOS Pointer
I didn't expect that there would be so many details and considerations behind the iPad pointer that I use in my daily life. Apple truly lives up to its reputation, and there is always an aspect that others find difficult to surpass behind its great works. Attached is a simulation of the iPad cursor in a browser, which can be used for any framework. Who knows if any software developers will see it?
Changes After Becoming a Design Leader
Insights from a designer who was promoted to manage a larger team at Tencent after a year and a half. Very practical and detailed, it helps designers or people from other industries expand their work perspectives and ideas.
- A small award
The mid-year review meeting ended, and I received my first small award at the new company. I was quite happy, but I quickly finished my thank-you speech on stage and had to wait for the other award recipients to finish speaking before I could leave. It was quite awkward.
- Business trip to Nanjing
The reason for the late submission of the weekly report is because I was on a business trip to Nanjing from Thursday to Sunday. I had to participate in the shooting of a product promotional video with my colleagues. I didn't expect this line of work to be extremely busy: after arriving at the hotel in Nanjing on Thursday afternoon and tidying up, I immediately rushed to the shooting location, familiarized myself with the scene, and learned about the shooting plan for the next day. After the setup was completed, I returned to the hotel and discussed the shooting style and presentation effect of the poster with my colleagues. It was already 1 a.m. when we synchronized the confirmation with the shooting team. The next day, we set off at 8 a.m. to start shooting and didn't return to the hotel until after 11 p.m. On the third day, we arrived at the shooting location at 11 a.m. and continued shooting until 2:30 a.m. Finally, we finished shooting. The schedule was very tight, and I only had five to six hours of sleep each day.
This was the first time I realized how complex the pre-production process of a shoot is. The team includes costume, props, set, director, action director, screenwriter, and more. There are many people, but everyone has their own responsibilities, and they are very efficient. This follow-up trip to Nanjing also gave me a deeper understanding of a project in the early stages of work. I also saw how my colleague, as the project owner, fulfilled his responsibilities. I sincerely admire him, and I gained a lot from this experience.
- Strolling in Nanjing
On Sunday, I met up with my childhood friend who graduated from a master's program in Nanjing and is still working there. We started from Confucius Temple, walked halfway around the Qinhuai River City Wall, and went to the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Museum. Finally, we went to a Huizhou cuisine restaurant near his place to eat and chat. After my friend graduated, he started working at a military research institute. Although his salary is at the normal level for a science graduate, the state-owned enterprise he works for has a monthly housing provident fund contribution of up to 30%, with 18% being a supplementary housing provident fund. He told me that some colleagues receive over 10,000 yuan in their accounts every month. As someone who has been in the internet industry, I was shocked. However, he said that this is considered low, as the housing provident fund in the neighboring institute can reach up to 60%. I was shocked again. It reminded me of an emoji: Who is really happy?
That's all. Thank you for reading. If you like it, feel free to subscribe or recommend it to other friends so that more people can see it. You can also find me in these places to discuss thoughts on efficiency, work, and life together:
